Wonder if Duran might get the start up front?

I would hope and expect not. We need a match fit Ollie and the only way to get him up to speed is to play him.

Duran is a good bench option but hasn't done a great deal when he has started.

Ollie is different level and we need him back asap.

Before I think about this game I'd like my fucking season ticket so I can watch it.

Any road. A sunny Bank Holiday Saturday, first home game so a session in Town which will be buzzing of course, full of Bottomless Brunch's and the attendant wenches, where Birmingham sports a smile on the last big weekend of the summer. I mean, what could go wrong? Well, loads of course and this is a big test so early in the season, the late KO will ensure a febrile atmosphere which will help. After Saturday I feel we are a different proposition where all those rather negative predictions (including mine) were swept aside in fine style and with little fuss and this bodes well. I will of course strike a note of caution drive mainly by the unlikely scenario of seeing off Woolwich 3 times in a row so will plump for a draw where we will leave the stadium fairly content.

If we get in at all that is....

1-1

That got the potential for your febrile crossing over to riotous.

Think I'll miss this, I might be in Norwich for the first time in my life. Please say it's good.

It's no Graiguenamanagh.
Ah Graiguenamanagh. The Latin quarter of Tinnahinch.

Someone posts on here with the location of Costa del Carlow, a hamlet of culture. I've always dug it whilst never fully agreed with it.

In case you needed a reason to hate them any more:

"Next up after today's hard fought win it's this shower of stupid voiced deluded fuckholes at their shitehole..Fucking despise these bastarts, horrible shower of burst hedgehogs"

"I truly despise Villa, with an absolute passion. This game will be a rough tough one and I think we need it early on. A good test, and a result, to set the tone."

Wow. What have we done for them to dislike us so much?

We see them for what they are.

Did we not roll over and have our tummies tickled by them last season? Did we school them? Ah diddums.

I love stuff like this.  When teams ever evoke this sort of feeling in opposition fans, it's usually a local rivalry, OR because they're seen as a genuine threat.

And we're nowhere near North London.

Arsenal are pathetic arrogant crybabies. For a club that can't even be bothered to stay until the end of a cup final when they win, you'd think they'd be similarly unbothered about losing. But, no, they're an absolutely pathetic fanbase who think the entire world should roll over for them.

they want to be Manchester United of the south - won't happen, and they know it deep inside.

It's almost not possible to do it these days. Teams can be successful (like Man City) and hopefully we will be too. But that global pull of teams like Man U, Liverpool and Barcelona is hard-wired in over many decades.

Even though its only game two of the season, they’ll see beating us on our patch as proof already of their title credentials. Feck them, lets show them ours.

Still think it’ll be 1-1 saying all that (Watkins gets off the mark).

Manchester United are the Manchester United of the South.
