I’ve quoted the figure in the FA Handbook for 2024/25  ( the regular source of information for GTC) in the main 2024/25 Divisions, Rules etc intro thread: 42,918.

It’s up by 270-odd from last season, following Chis Heck’s reorganisation of seating in various areas of the ground.
I’m not too sure why the high guesses are coming in, except to score points from over estimating, perhaps?
