VAR stuck with the referee because Cash wasn't going for the ball. That's legitimately what they said on my stream.

Anyway fuck them, we were superb throughout.

Well if VAR wasn’t there the penalty is given so it’s kind of irrelevant.

Just back home after getting a last minute ticket from LeeB, thanks mate.

- Their stadium remains the worst place to watch football in the Premier league, and getting away afterwards is a pain in the arse.
- That was never a penalty
- A really good team performance and the squad strength is excellent, when you consider that Moreno, the Baron and Illing-Jr couldn't even make the bench

I understand that, but it’s not a horrendous decision. It’s soft, but if the desire is for VAR only to intervene on the real shockers it isn’t one.

But it wasn't a foul. Cash won the ball, then there was a tangle of legs. That doesn't get given as a foul anywhere else on the pitch. If they're not going to overturn non-fouls given as penalties, what's the point of it?

I think it probably is - he gets the initial touch and then gets his legs tangled up. It’s two separate bits to me, but I understand if others see it differently. My view is it’s soft, but not a big error.

He's also got a 100% record in Edinburgh if we extend the stat to include all results in British capitals. 😀
He has not done much in Cardiff though.

The ball was pushed away from the spam player after the touch, so subsequent tangle not relevant
