Yep, all pretty much spot on.  As a club we didn’t have to do much to progress from the corner shop mentality, we’ve now sort of caught up with most of the others.  Just what is happening with the North Stand redevelopment? It all seems to have gone very quiet.

Off the table for now, reading yesterday how Barca are crippled by the rising costs of their redevelopment and I reckon this was a big factor in pulling the plug, we couldn't risk the same thing happening to us as were trying to establish ourselves in the Champions League.

As always a great read from Dave.

I do wonder if the TalkSport interviews were done for expectation management about the transfer window.

I thought DV spoke well and informed about why decisions are taken. I think the jury is out on Monchi. Apart from two makeweights from Juve every other transfer has been from England.

I guess there’s a bit of that but we’re looking to upgrade one stand not rebuild a whole new stadium. There’s never a right time for this but I suppose being in the CL would be a very wrong time currently. We are going to have to bite the bullet at some stage regardless of progress on the pitch.
