Dont worry Tim - every night out with Mrs Beard has been like that.  I swear I was witty and life of the party, only to be told I was a dick.

All the other ladies constantly telling her she's so lucky to be Mrs. Beard probably doesn't help her mood.
Yeah - especially while they are making breakfast downstairs.

Ok so over 60% factually correct , I'm fairly happy with that nowadays  :D specsavers . It was definitely a cracking game.
I'd take 1-1 Saturday . (Or 2-2 😉).

Intresting - just downloading unity now.  I been coding for 15 years as a job - but now the kids are older and into games would be great to explore

You could take a look at Unreal 5 too, it is a worthy contender to Unity. I've always used Unity because I know it and it has tremendous support through tutorials and forums which I leverage frequently because of my lack of formal coding skills.

What languages do you code in ?

If you have any questions pm me, or maybe start a Unity topic if that's easier ??

That opening day at West Ham many years ago , 2-2 Petrov debut masterclass, mascherano and Tevez debuts , GazBaz goal . Cracking game in fact .

It wasn't the opening day, it was 1-1, Ridgewell was our goalscorer and Mascherano didn't play.

Other than that...
I was also there that day and said hello to Nigel Kennedy at half time who was in the visitors end with a couple of minders.
That's a bit worrying , I was at the game , could have sworn it was 2-2 . Petrov definitely played a blinder . Tevez and mascerano definitely made debuts , as did Petrov . The sun was out it was warm. Felt like an opening day .

The combination of our 1st day hoodoo, the fact we struggle at West Ham, and Unai’s record against Lopeteguei, plus the fact our defensive issues seem to still be present in preseason means I think we’ll lose. My one hope is that Unai has been holding plenty back in preseason.

The Palace game was the best day out I’ve had in a long time.

Not even spoiled by meeting me.

Agree though a great day out.

Tottenham's form was woeful, and they looked completely blown out despite playing less than alomost everyone else in the division, and it was exactly how I'd said it would go earlier in the season based on the way they played.

Yeah but this season they will be much stronger according to the pundits, they've got Solanke and Archie Gray.... And let a load go. They seem to have a weaker squad than they did

I'm not confident, we never do well here!

You're better than you think you are then; you remembered the punctuation and capital letters.

I realised later that it was the heaviest Villa defeat I've ever witnessed live, and I think our heaviest defeat since the 0-6 reverse at home to Liverpool in *that* season...

Was it 4-0 after about 20 minutes? I closed the laptop screen and sat in a huff. Great days.
