Just going on the above posts so can only be starters involved. I also don't think Diaby would have been starting without the injury to Buendia either.

I might be wrong but wasn't Diaby the only new face against Newcastle in the starting line-up last year?

Yeah and how did that result end 😉

Onana is a perfect CM position for us vs Soucek . Win that battle will be massive.

We ended the season fourth despite people stating it was Tottenham place for most of the season.

If we win here then Unai completes the set of winning at every London PL ground. In just over 18 months.

That's bloody ridiculous.

I’ll answer your question. We lost. Then we ended the season fourth despite people stating it was Tottenham’s place for most of the season.

Ah, nice one! This game is on Canal+ in France. And they've got the drop-shadow lion.

Thank you - i would add which consisted of a host of new players helping us achieve 4th =)

Spurs were not far off from us. Lucky for us there wasnt another 4-5 games as we were on a terrible run. I think thats why we have bought a lot in to not see a repeat with a fatigue as that was the reason for our poor form towards the end of the season

So lucky we played for 38 games which happens to be the length of the league? Strange as some people had handed the 4th place to Spurs in March  which was game week 28. So we were lucky that the season wasn't 28 games in length. But then we were lucky they had some injuries early on in the season as well if I remember correctly as our injuries didn't count, well from some people.

Lucky Villa it seems.

That's a good point. The downside to Luiz is that for all his good play, he was physically quite weak, and when the chips were down in a battle, he was usually nowhere to be seen.

I can guarantee If we lose to West Ham on Saturday this will be the standard message on the post match

If you actually read what i wrote it was about our form being so bad towards thweend of the season and we only finished a few points ahead of them.

Cool that you also ignored the end part of the post to to make your own conclusion up too 😂
