West Ham Villa pre match what? I think it should describe what it is, as I'm left like my yaw and pitch are at odds.

Are we all forgetting Spam have changed several players, most of which will have one week to work with their new manager.  Ok we’ve lost two of our best players, one guaranteed starter, the other probably would have been a sub. So why are we fretting?

They’ve only won one pre-season match in normal time. Against Dagenham and Redbridge. I still went for a loss though.

- The games are always shite there
- We are always slightly more shite than them
- Pre-season has been rubbish
- We can’t defend

5-1 West Ham. Sir Alex tells everyone we looked great. We win the league and CL.

What a disaster this is!

I haven't been this disappointed and angry since I watched the Olympics opening ceremony.

3-1 to us, FTJECF.

2 zip to Villa. No worries, but we have to take the game to them. Sit back and bad things will happen...

Not particularly confident. Firstly we always struggle there and secondly we look pretty half baked and incoherent. Hopefully we have a major step up built in.

Assuming no new signings before Wham, what's your 11?

Emi

Cash
Konsa
Pau
Digne

McGinn
Onana
Youri

Rogers
Ramsey
Watkins

And if we hadn't sold Luiz he'd be in there for Onana/Youri so possibly no new signings in our current strongest 11, in my opinion. Need a couple of belters to go straight in to the first team, like Felix.

I forgot Bailey! Good job I'm not the manager.

^ I'd go with that, and even going forward I think an upgrade on Cash is probably all that's needed. Purely in terms of starting 11. JJ and Rogers at their very best could be something special.

I suspect, as many others do, that we will start very slowly this season. Can't see how Watkins can possibly play this game given he hasn't played a second of pre season.

We have looked bloody awful and haven't replaced Luiz or Diaby and don't have a back up for Ollie. Hell, we don't even have a kit to play in yet.

2-0 to West Ham

We will improve as the season wears on but still a better scoreline than the opening day of last season I suppose.

I'd go:

Martinez

Cash Konsa Torres Digne

McGinn Onana Tielemans Rogers

Bailey Watkins
