Yeah, we're a bit one-dimensional... in the most creative way - quick passing through the lines centrally.

More expert crosses from Lucas wouldn't go astray.

Put a great one on a plate for Ollie at Newcastle but Lucas looks Do(g)ne to me. Hoping he isn't starting tonight. Maatsen to drive on all night. Maybe a case for starting that waster Sancho in front of him

Played ok today but time and time again didn’t have the nous , perhaps ability , to play a pass into the box with options available when he had ample time to.

The number of times in the second half we'd got bodies in the box and Onana or Bogarde refused to cross was unbelievable.

Neither of them have the technical ability to do it. We spent 50m on one of them. Thought Onana was ok today but poor for the third goal. Forced their keeper into a good save after a strong tackle.

Get anywhere near £60m for him it would be daylight robbery. Scout better. Can't turn on the ball and needs 4 touches to play a pass, can't shoot in the box, never dominates in the air like you'd hope. Made of glass.

Watched Sporting captain and Danish international Morten Hjulmand closely last night, heart on sleeve viking and leader who can play more than a bit, cost Sporting €18m back in summer 2023 and has a buy out clause of €80m now. Now that was good scouting, something we could have done (should be doing), eased him in and allowed him to develop within the squad so that when the opportunity arises - in Sporting's case selling Ugarte to PSG and scumbag Palhinha, Hjulmand was fully up to speed.

Would I swap him today for Onana? I'd piggy back both to their new clubs.
