At least he’s stayed fit. We should be grateful for that if nothing else.

These last few weeks have been his chance to step up and show what he’s made of.

He has.

Well the latter part, anyway.

Joking aside, he looks like he’s playing not to get injured which is maybe the problem.

I did hope that he would step up to the plate with the other players out but he really hasn't. He's slipping on a wet floor on his way to the plate.

Flatters to deceive. Has stepped down rather than up when really needed.

People saying he was good first half then dropped off, I didn’t think he did anything of note. I was surprised he stopped on for the whole game.

Does good cheerleading when things go well, nowhere to be seen when there's a battle to be fought.

Can not be relied on to deliver any consistency.

He was great this season.
Not sure why he seems to be playing at half speed.

I think “great” is somewhat over egging it for what is clearly a waste of money.

First man out the door this summer. I've never rated him technically, embarrassingly got turned over in possession in the first minute tonight, but it's his f*cking lack of character that stands out worse than his first touch. Not the only one but absolutely pathetic tonight in every facet of his play.

Get him in a locked room with Roy Keane to dish-out some home truths.

He's looked like a decent option at times, when he's had the likes of Kamara and Tielemans to dig him out.

But not the sort you can rely on in a crisis.

Judging by his quotes, probably has half an eye on a move and the World Cup. Knows his body.

I'd sell anyway. If you talk like that you need to back it up. He isn't doing that when we most need him. Should be running games.

His good games have come when we’re under pressure.

He’s never had a good one where we’ve dominated possession. He’s been awful recently because we are playing poor sides and have a lot of the ball.

He’s alway looked like he didn’t fit in with our style of play right from the first pre season matches. A strange signing. A modern day Carlton palmer
