The difference in intensity alone when Kamara and McGinn particularly came on was night and day v Onana.

Saudi awaits in Jan, time to cut our losses. Bogarde is looking a better bet in midfield.

Seems a decent bloke and love the cheerleading with the crowd, but it's just not working out.

If anyone caMe close to offering 50m i would sell him in a heart beat.
I think we'd do well to get £30 tbh.

Then what is the point in selling him?  This is a squad game and if he goes and we get an injury to Kamara or Bogarde, we are down to Barkley (who is only just coming back into the fold) and Linderlof out of position.  Unless we take McGinn or Tielemans out of their better positions further forward.

We could spend the money on someone that is more effective, and is regularly available for selection. I don't think we'll sell him in Jan, but that would a reason to.

Nice flicks around corners and side steps. When there's no pressure. When we needed our midfield to get a grip of things after half time Onana once again found a hole to disappear into.

Fully agree, he nevers looks out of his depth but has all the impact of an empty crisp packet. Thought it was telling when things were going awry and we needed to up the tempo he was hooked and young Bogarde stayed on.

For £30m as suggested?  If we can identify someone then great, but £30m gets you a Guessand.

As someone said earlier despite his physical presence he doesn’t dominate the midfield like he should.  He shows occasional glimpses but not £50m worth.  He should be like Makelele.  At the moment he’s more ukulele.

And £0 gets you a Kamara and Tielemans.

Wages.  We could re-innst the £30m, be no worse off financially and get someone useful in.  Could prob have got Luiz for that for example.

Looks like some have moved on from Cash now onto Onana.

I'd like to see the player he could become if he could have a good run without injuries. All the criticism of right now is missing the context that he's just coming back from injury, but that's been his problem.

I also just mentioned on the other thread, he turned 24 in August, so is still reasonably young and could develop more into the shithouse we'd all like to see.

To put that into some context, McGinn signed when he was 23 and even though he was very good from the off, he has evolved a huge amount since then.

I'd stil take £35m though.
