Has he got the minerals? When we need him to step-up, he always breaks down.

If we could have sold him to Saudi and kept JJ this summer, I swear to God, I'll come for you Monchi.

Came for the "made of glass comments" was only mildly disappointed.  However, I think this benefits us with having to move Tielemans and McGinn back, given that Kamara is also injured.

We signed him in July 24 - According to transfermarkt he's missed 19 games in that time.
I wouldn't necessarily say we've got value for money so far. 🫤

So, does that mean Bogarde in DMF on Sunday?! Hmmm, if so.

A player that is either injured, getting over an injury or about to get injured. Pointless.
Waste of £45/ £50 million

I know you can’t correlate transfer fees to injury records, but fucking hell, I wish we hadn’t spunked £50m on the glass man.

£50 million would be pretty handy in his window.

With Onana and Kamara we may as well laminate the pair of them and hope we get one piece of tougher glass. In 1981 we used 14 players in total, on pitches that were basically allotments between October and March, with virtually no injuries.?

We made up for it in the seasons that followed.

I really like Onana as I do Kamara but bloody hell, these two are always injured.

Personally I would drop McGinn into central midfield and play Malen out on the right but I don't think Emery will do that.

I was thinking the exact same or give Evann a run out wide.

Geddes for Withe was maybe due to suspensions? Williams/Gibson in competition?

Withe was suspended a couple of times. Shaw was dropped once. Gibson and Williams were left-backs, Deacy played in a few positions. Ron Saunders didn't allow players to get injured.
