At times - as a box to box midfielder - he has given a passable impression of a footballer.

But as a DM or pretty much any time the game requires a bit of physicality - he looks way off.  Which is ridiculous, for the size of him.

I actually think he's improved his off the ball work massively in the last year.

Remember that goal we conceded away to Ipswich when he was nowhere to be seen on the right when Konsa lost the ball.

Whenever that happened yesterday he was quickly back in the right side position which is what Kamara does expertly.

I think the problem here is 50m and people expecting midfielder with Tielemans quality of passing and I'm afraid he isn't that at all and I don't think he ever will be. Average on the ball when having to pass it forward.

One thing I'm disappointed in with his size is how little he gets on the end of corners and set plays. That West Ham goal was a bit of a mirage as we had countless corners first half yesterday and he didn't get on the end of it once.

I agree with the majority of this.
In terms if getting on the end of Corners, just on yesterday specifically, whats with Cash and all the bloody corners, his delivery is never good enough for him to be on what seemed like permanent corner duty.
In fact it seemed luke Cash had far too much of the ball in general.

He can but he needs strict instructions. As a defensive midfielder (why do we always play two?) he's at his best. He just needs to focus on that job and let the more talented, attacking type players do theirs. He's no box to box player so once you get over that idea he's more than capable. Let him go up for corners and freekicks.

Top Tip: When we're trying to play out from the back, don't stand next to an opposition player making yourself unavailable. Those big legs you have, they're not just for tackling, they allow you to move and not just stand still like a fooking statue.
