Great stuff, and well done to anyone who went down today to support them.

Great stuff, and well done to anyone who went down today to support them.

That’s me, wifey and two of the kids.

Great fun. Altogether a lovely Friday and Saturday at VP. Now for the cup final and hopefully more good results to come!

Did you make her pay for the tickets again?

Yeah, the winners of the North and South U18 Premier Leagues play to determine that Villa are the overall winners, the best, and the most sporting.

Do they still think you watched it at the pub last night? :)

They do. I nearly gave it away a couple of times.

Just for clarity, I only lied to the kids. Wifey knows that I went to the match with your vivacious self.

More clarity - I could only get one ticket, but the kids would not be amused that I went without them.

It was fun to see the Citeh goalie throw his runners up medal away in disgust and then disappear down the tunnel, comforted by their no 5, while the rest of the team had to applaud the Villa lifting the trophy. We can't decide whether it was because he "cared too much" or there had been some altercation with the Villa kids. But surely our boys are too nice to say anything bad...
