We know our opponents on Thursday night.

Not this Thursday, the next one.

Proctor - learning from the master.

He went the right way 3 out of 4 times

Saved the 1st and 3rd (1st one was a worldie) and he went the right way for the last one, which went wide.

Not sure he'd have saved it had it been on target, but when you see a keeper going the correct way and saving 2 out of 3, it messes with your mind. You know you cant afford to not score (you're out if you do) and it puts extra pressure on  you to put it out of reach of a shit hot, guessing the right way keeper
So you over compensate, try too hard and put it wide.

Pens are as much about what goes on between the ears as between the posts.

Yeah, a large part of pens is how much of an impression the keeper can make on the takers.  Constantly see it with Emi and saw it tonight. Sels for Forest in the FA Cup too.

Joe Hart tried to do it against Italy in 2012. Pirlo showed some pure class with a panenka from the first (?) pen and completely negated it.

Their coach was gobbing off at Proctor afterwards.

Yes, it looked like it didn’t it. I don’t know why anyone at Manchester United feels that they are in a position to take the moral high ground. Sanctimonious bullshit coming from that lot.

I’m really hoping that we can start to build a ruthless winning mentality through every level of the club. It’s early days obviously, but we have definitely needed to be a bit nastier in years gone by.

It's just a pity the crowd wasn't bigger. We never have been able to attract many for the junior sides.
