Did the commentator just call him Aaron?

He's said it 3 or 4 times now, the bloody amateur.

Yep i noticed that too. Pretty bad. He must have the team sheets with him

Oh the irony!

Yeah because ive got brothers names wrongs and a former player that has not played for us in over 12 months.

Im good with names get it right Peter 😜

Kerr Smith and Ben Broggio look talents. The latter has quite a bit of Grealish about him.
Yeah, they were the ones that stood out for me, although I was only kind of half watching. Barkley seemed to get caught in possession quite a few times, thought the lad on the left was decent as well, Patterson or somesuch. Keeper not so impressive.
I thought Kerr Smith and Todd Alcock were the stand-out players for Villa. Broggio and Patterson caught the eye as well (the latter was on the first team bench a couple of times last season, IIRC).

Had an enjoyable if bastard cold couple of hours up at Fleetwood.  Wasnt expecting any first teamers so that was a nice bonus. Played some nice stuff inbetween some sloppy play and yes, Captain Pugwash was highly amusing.

Jnr and I had a good night and I met up with a fair few "villans" from the past (North West ) and a few new Villans too - from London, Redditch, Solihull

Both Jnr and myself were engaging with the Captain Pugwash banter as well as the "Broom attack"

Well worth the drive from Formby

To all those I met on the night - thanks for making me smile !:)

Glad you enjoyed it. I recognised one or two faces. Thats the second time i've been now, nice little ground. Shame the club bar wasn't open, it's great in there.

Bogarde put on as right back again, I suspect at Emery's request. But he sold himself a dud for their second and a big reason they scored it. They actually played quite well to beat the press in that move.

TBF, none of the goals had much of a celebration.

You'd expect more of a reaction to beating Arsenal away.

Could be interesting to see a fully fit Buendia playing off Watkins in the role Emery had in mind for Joao Felix.
