You’re a better man than me, I forgot the bloke was even a footballer

Yeah it was clearly done for ffp. Doubt we will get that 10m back. Can see him just being constantly loaned out then leave for a small fee

Was just checking how he is doing and a lot of negative comments about him.  Dont think he will make it here if he is not doing well in championship

Must have been purely for FFP

I can confirm, he's not very good.

No idea why we chose to buy him out of all the options at everton.at least eveeton are getting use of timmy even if injured. While dobbin is likely to offer us nothing

Definitely. Especially when you think of the abundance of talent Everton must have available to offload.

Buying him may have helped us steal a march on getting Onana in, instead of fucking around like Man Utd did and losing out of both Branthwaite and the big man.

1 season at The Bitters, to burn a year of contract and some wages, then sell for £5-6m to get off the books. Simples.

Because he was the player Everton chose to sell because as home grown he was full book value for them….the PSR stuff wasn’t just to suit us

Who is paying that sort of money for him?

Aston Villa - the rest are irrelevant. Good luck Lewis.

Yeah, I was wondering that. We ain’t getting as much for him as we did for Azaz based on what  he’s done to date.

We might get a few million for him if he looks like a good player at that level, but that doesn’t seem to be the case so far,

Everton negotiated better. Iroegbunam was ready to be given a run of starts at PL level, Dobbin was nowhere near it. Presumably, no one else would pay £50m for Onana either.

Man Utd wanted him but he turned it down to come here and work with Unai.

Fuck knows! The loan down the road certainly hasn't helped him, despite him coming from a season at Everton where he was starting to get Premier League minutes.
I've no idea what he's like and what his potential is but he needs to be moved to a team where he can get the chance to prove his worth.
