I'd assume he knew that was the most likely outcome. And if the international players had been back he may not have even gone to the US.

Good to see him get some regular game time at our feeder academy.

So we've sent him to train with our youth team?  Doesn't sound good ...

Being more serious, it seems a good move for him. Albion should be there or thereabouts in the Championship.  Just taking everything else out of the equation, a good season there and we should be able to flog him on at a tidy profit even if it turns out he isn't strong enough to get in our first team.

He'll have to have an excellent season for us to recoup the £9m we reportedly paid for him.

I suppose there's more chance of him doing that in The Championship than sitting on Villa's bench and playing a League Cup game

To be fair it's absolute peak trolling from the club. "You see your PSR rules? You can shove them riiiiight up your arse!"

Not a fan of this. I like to be able to cheer on our loan signings, not have them playing for some twats that will sing about us all game.

We waited just long enough for people to stop talking about us gaming the system, too.

Chelsea have been hoovering up players and farming them out on loan before selling them on for years.

Albion clearly getting treated like a feeder club in different ways now.

"He looks good" *Harrison points at someone* "We'll have him" so we take him.

"Here, train this one up for us now".

We need to give them something back. Maybe let their squad do our stadium tour or something?

Have their photo taken with the European Cup?

Get some WBA diaries printed with our trophy list in them?

It’s a bit annoying as now I have to take an interest in West Brom’s results.
