€3m for his Benfica loan. Can’t find a mention of a loan fee to Valencia.

I think it was about €1m to Valencia, I remember seeing something in that ballpark. Either way given the circumstances I think rather than looking at any profit on him we should really just see this as an extra €20m on the fee we got for Luiz.

I think we get a chunk of any profit when Benfica choose to sell him too.

It's convoluted but I suspect we like these delayed sales as they provide almost guaranteed cash in the future.  Furthermore an additional year of amortization, so a bigger profit.

Yes, I seem to recall it’s 30% of any profit up to €30m (which would mean an extra (€10m for us).
