That Oasis kit is possibly the biggest PR pisstake ever. It looks like any number of white Man City change tops. It's got absolutely sod all to do with the album cover. If it had, there'd be a flamingo, Joe lying down and an image of the Fab Four on the sleeves. The guff people come out with to sell tat is astonishing.

I too read the promotional piece disguised as a BBC article and thought much the same.

It did make me think though that Bonehead had remarkably good taste for a Manc builder at the time, and that picture would have been well before the money started rolling in.

I remember thinking that. Bay windows and polished floorboards in 1994 - doesn't really fit with their image. Then again, Bonehead was always the talented one.

I think it was his sister's house and he was just living there.

I'm hopeful we have a knockout 4th kit as a one off for this game (yet tbd) to mark the 150th . Reckon it will be the Palace game which is the closest date to 21 Nov.

What in the actual fuck is this monstrosity?

I'm almost certainly not the target market, but a blacked out badge that looks like it's been randomly thrown on from across the room? What a piece of tat.

The Adidas peak being off centre really does make the badge above it look randomly stuck on. I'm pretty forgiving but I'm not a fan.

Don’t mind it, wouldn’t buy it, especially as £85 is a bit heavy but it’s not hideous

For me this is a perfect example of "if you don't like it don't buy it" I doubt there are many people on this forum that are in the target market for that specific hoodie but both of my kids love it and it could be the first time since they were toddlers that I might actually be able to get them to wear some Villa gear (although my daughter actually likes the black version not the Biege one).

I could imagine plenty would like a Villa hoodie but can't understand why they've blacked out the badge in its entirety. It looks like it's just won a super-injunction to avoid being outed for historical sex crimes.

Haven't Adidas been doing something similar with a lot of their teams, both international and club? The black badge looks alright to the side on a white hoodie, not so much when the hoodie is Austin Allegro beige.

Looking at Liverpool warming up on Final Score, their pre-match shirt looks much smarter than their home kit.
