I dont mind people not liking it but seeing on social media alot of people saying its not a villa kit. Hello its a 3rd kit! Our 3rd kit hardly ever is a villa kit. We had a green one years ago. I like different kits tbh. Navys great one of my favs.

Would be great if we got a khaki one eventually
I'd rather have the green one.

We're Aston Villa, we glow in the dark....

Id say that bogey green  kit under lerner was one of the vilest kits ive seen. Yuck. Horrific

Waited over 50 years for Adidas to rock up at Villa Park. Three shockers.

I think the home kit is the best we have had in over a decade. Maybe 2010 Acorns top.

Absolutely love it. Like the 3rd kit too.

The away not so much.

I'd have liked a spin one of the very first kits , 1878 plain black with a red lion, that would have been a nice nod to the past

You should have mentioned it earlier.

Yeah, its ok. Quite like the black stripes in between the white ones.

I thought pale grey, but could be white.

I'd imagine there'll be a 4th, one off, anniversary kit at some point too. Can't see the current lot missing an opportunity to get more money out of supporters. A lot of other clubs have marked occasions this way recently.

C115y just launched a 4th kit designed by Noel Gallagher , cleverly tapping into the current Oasis hysteria.

The thing they put out tonight, that's in the heck thread, says there will be an specific game set as the AV150 match. I suspect they'll have a load of clothing available before that which will include a match shirt and we'll play in it as well.

That Oasis kit is possibly the biggest PR pisstake ever. It looks like any number of white Man City change tops. It's got absolutely sod all to do with the album cover. If it had, there'd be a flamingo, Joe lying down and an image of the Fab Four on the sleeves. The guff people come out with to sell tat is astonishing.

I had to look at the cover online to see if it had anything to do with the new kit at all, and no couldn't see anything obvious. Apparently the colours are supposed to be similar, but it's tenuous beyond belief. Still, better than our third kit, which is shit.

I too read the promotional piece disguised as a BBC article and thought much the same.

It did make me think though that Bonehead had remarkably good taste for a Manc builder at the time, and that picture would have been well before the money started rolling in.

I was living and working around Wigan/Manchester at the time, and my friend was mates with the photographer, Michael Spencer Jones. He did the cover of Urban Hymns as well.
