Uh oh, variation of 'Proud History, Bright Future' alert! :)

Chris Heck, President of Business at Aston Villa, said: “This new third kit represents the best of Aston Villa’s history and future. The design speaks to our club’s proud heritage while embracing the vibrant energy of our supporters.

Sam Handy, SVP of Product and Design at adidas, added: “The 2024/25 third kit is a perfect fusion of Aston Villa’s rich heritage and our shared ambition to create something new and innovative that represents the club’s exciting future.

I don't mind a blue top.

But how tf does it 'speak to our proud heritage?'

The Scottish thing maybe. We had kit that blue and white stripes back in the 1880’s apparently.

My 9 year old says it looks like a Leicester training top. So it doesn't appear to appeal to anyone.

It's as if they are explaining the pizza of the week on the menu at Zizzi. Tsk!

Just seen this new third kit. I think it's a great addition.
Now I know the choices I would buy the away one and that's the one I will but without a player name
I had Luiz the last two kits.

If I did get a player name I either get Watkins, Tielemans, Konsa or Torres.

I think the kits are all good but not outstanding, and as I refuse to be an advert for the gambling industry there was no way I’d be shelling out for any of them anyway. But, none of them shout “milestone season” at me, which is a shame. Or possibly, a fourth Uber-retro kit is to be worn sometime around the ‘official’ anniversary date?

I think the foundation 'sponsor' has been best in recent times.
Cazoo and BK8 not so much yet I still bought the shirts and wore with pride despite the sponsors!
