I think it looks excellent. The badge doesn’t put me off either.

Sorry if this has been answered already but to save me trawling through 112 pages of this thread,  does anyone know when the goalkeeper kit is going on sale?

We have the fifth best away kit according to the Athletic;

https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/5684536/2024/08/17/premier-league-away-kits-rankings/

But some of the kits they rank ahead of ours are awful.

It also suggests that Wolves new kit people are linked with Macron? Not seen that mentioned anywhere else.

The Grauniad have excelled themselves in their kit coverage, noting how we have gone with a “striped colour”, a blue that is “almost white”, and ditched the latin phrases on our badge…

Christ.

There are some shocking away kits this season, the Fulham kit looks like Bournemouth’s home kit and the Leicester kit looks like something out of an illegal rave in 1989.

Yeah, the Leicester one isn’t good. I don’t like the Brentford one either.

I think we’re the best attired team this season, overall.

Although I was worried by something I saw in the store, a cheap-nasty-Crystal-Palace-swirly type top that I think might be a pre-match one.  :(

I’m trying to understand the description half way down the page - “ A tribute to Aston Villa FC's cup winners of 1975”

The way I read it, they either meant 1957 - when we didn’t wear white - or they’re claiming to base this year’s away shirt on our 1975 League Cup final shirt which also wasn’t white. Who writes this shite and do they get paid?

Ha ha, yeah that’s terrible. Though I think they mean the stripes on the collar are a link to the 57 final kit.

Still appalling to get your own product descriptions wrong. Maybe it was written by David Cameron’s old speechwriter.

It also says "on the way to their Wembley triumph", we wore it in earlier rounds. It would have been better to just say it's a nod to the mid 70s away shirt, which it is.

Yeah, that would have been a lot better to say.

It’s doing well, I think. The authentic one only available in S now.

Purchased mine from East Midlands Airport just now, £72. Wasn’t going to but it looks very smart up close.

Don't mind the Arsenal and Liverfool ones.

On that list, there's none I'd be jealous of. And I'd say a fair few will be jealous of ours.

Those Citeh, Brighton and Bournemouth ones are rancid.
