Interesting black shirt in the background of the new store pic. Can’t tell if it says Betano or Adidas on the chest.

Just spotted that…unless it’s a red herring then it looks like black shirt with sky blue highlights and sky blue shirt with black highlights. Both have Betano on the chest, however I reckon they’ll just be stock images rather than a sneak peak of the away and third kits.

I don't think they are stock images, I did a proper zoom in and you can see slight differences between the shirts on each level, particularly the badges, they're not as prominent further down. Maybe they have edited it for that effect but it seems odd. I'd say that's probably the kit although it would be an odd thing to do.

They're the same images from the CGI footage months ago.

That would make more sense.

Sheffield Wednesday have warned that home fans wearing counterfeit shirts at Hillsborough could be ejected from the stadium.

The South Yorkshire club issued a statement on their website, external to "respectfully request" that supporters refrain from wearing fake shirts at home games.

Wednesday stated: “Anyone found to be wearing a fake shirt inside Hillsborough could be asked to leave, with information passed on to the relevant parties.”

They have also made it clear that staff at the official club shop will refuse requests to add numbers or letters to counterfeit shirts.

In a statement titled 'brand protection', the club said sales of fake shirts can "impact directly on club revenues" and official club merchandise could be bought from the Owls Megastore or online store.

"Although we cannot prevent supporters from wearing counterfeit shirts away from Hillsborough, we do respectfully request that such products are not displayed inside the stadium," the statement added.

The Owls begin their Championship campaign on Sunday at home to Plymouth (16:00 BST).

Ive ordered a england shirt and a retro villa one from a site i know. Honestly the quality is fantastic. Not from ali express but another  site i know. Its like £15 with postage and comes within 7-10 days. I bought the recent england away one and you couldnt tell it was a replica if you saw me walking down the street.

Sadly i think alot more people will eventually turn to this as the kits are so expensive

If adidas, who have some real ethical questions to answer themselves when it comes to their activities down the years, want to charge £80 for 10 quid’s worth of nylon shirt then it’s a no brainer that someone will step in and knock out the same stuff for much less.

My son bought a fake adidas Belgium shirt the other day for £15 - the Tin Tin light blue shirt ( with Tielemans on the back) and I’d struggle to spot it’s a fake. Might be easier to spot fake Villa shirts though I suppose.

The reality is you can perfectly afford to buy the real thing, but you’re a tight arse who would rather give money to criminals to do criminal things than go without something yourself.

That’s without even touching on the robbing the club, the economy, the NHS, and everyone else that’s no longer seeing a penny of what you’ve spent.

I dunno. I don't want to be po faced about things as it's not really a big deal, but there's plenty I can't afford so don't buy it. If you want a Villa shirt, buy one, save if you cannot or annoy a parent into buying one for you. If you've bought a fake then you've not bought a Villa shirt, so you're £15 further off affording it.
