He already quoted that the 76'ers used New and old badges on tier marketing items.

I think there will be a black kit as 3rd and a similar set up as home with white and claret replacing the claret and blue mix.

What an horrific kit design .

Spot on, Tim. It's dreadful, the collar, the wrong shade of green, the arm 'band', the different coloured 'wacky' 70s crest.

But in the main, it’s white, your average Geordie will be able to wear it for weddings and ‘best’.

Despite previous reports, the club shop will happily do any printing to the shirt despite where it was brought

If I was Chrissy Chrissy Heck, I'd be all over having a standard home and away kit, then have 'special edition' 3rd kits for the league (1880 black with a big red lion), European Cup (1982 away), FA Cup (1957 away), and league cup (1994 away). Absolutely milk the 150th anniversary for everything it's worth.

Makes sense, they can make money on it.

They did tell me JD or the Villa only, as long as a receipt was produced.

I took my JD bought shirt there earlier and they didn’t even ask to see the receipt. Happily took my money for printing and away I went.

Great, makes loads of sense and makes you wonder why they wouldn't do it before.

They get revenue, people go in to the store and therefore more likely to buy more stuff, and there's just more exposure to merchandise.

Yet more evidence that this kit is cursed.

My mate ordered one for him and his boy. It took a while, but this is what arrived;

WHAT THE FUCK? I'd be demanding a new kit and compensation to pay for counselling.

They have been given a 30% off voucher, which I think is nice of Fanatics.

But yeah, the trauma of it.  :o

When the Villa shirt arrives, they'll have a new shirt, 30% off their next order, AND emergency bog roll, so all good.

The new badge looks better on the shirt. Less liony.

Looking at the Newcastle third kit (they haven't announced their away kit yet which is a bit odd), gives me hope that we won't use the current main badge on everything. This Newcastle badge is from the mid 80 to late 80's.

Have they changed theie badge ? That monstrosity looks horrific.  Makes ours look like a masterpiece 🤢
