Probably too much Djemba Djemba if they had to cut it out for 'energy and spirit', as mentioned.

I'm starting over near Great Barr tomorrow night. Where would be the best place to go and pick up a top?
JD SPORTS in the one stop shopping centre Perry Barr?

Thanks, I'll head there later.

You could put money on the away being released before we take a trip to WHAM! for the opening game...

I'm looking forward to seeing our away and third strip.

I ordered my top on launch day and it arrived today so that's 5 working days. I really like it but I might need to eat a salad or two before the XXL size will be, erm, fully adjusted to my morphology.

I quite like the red stuff some of the support staff are wearing.

Looking at the Newcastle third kit (they haven't announced their away kit yet which is a bit odd), gives me hope that we won't use the current main badge on everything. This Newcastle badge is from the mid 80 to late 80's.

That would be smart if it didn't look like they are wearing those inflatable armbands kids wear when learning to swim.

Adidas also used Leeds Utd's 70s crest on their away kit. Maybe we're getting the 70s round badge on our away or third kit.

Or a plain lion. That would be smart and reflect our very early kits. Or the shield that was on the Trinity?

I'd be really surprised if for this season at least we have anything other than the new badge, as Heck is trying to establish the brand so I can't see him diluting it this season.

Went in today, it was very busy with little stock of M and L in mens, plenty of larger sizes. Only L & XL in ladies so my daughter missed out.

A word to the wise for those ordering online for kids for your hols, the shirts come up very small, my lad is only 7 and not big for his age, but the 7-8 I bought him had to back for a 9-10.
