I think Chris Heck said it all in that last interview. Castore are a local kit supplier who can't do very much for us. Adidas are global and can support us in every market. That's what we need.

No point going over old ground now about the badge as it's the one we've got, but looking at it on the training kit, it's the 'Aston Villa' that doesn't look quite right on it. 

It would look better without that and a bigger '1874' underneath.  Oh well.

You are right, speaking as a fan. Heck and his team will be looking at it from a marketing point of view and how do they get our 'brand' across to the billions of people in the world who don't know who we are.

Luke designs piss all over adidas but obviously they don't have the power of a leading global business
