As above, I think he was one that we could identify with as kids and a big part of the team that got be hooked on Villa.

Yes, he was a real Holte End hero and a skilful and glamorous player when third division teams could keep their best players rather than being forced to sell them.

Chico completely lost his confidence under Docherty (the man who signed him) but eventually got it back under Vic Crowe and kept his place in Saunders's team that took us back up and also won the League Cup we should have won in 1971. MotM? Chico Hamilton.
