Saw one or two in Villa shirts going in with Palace as we were walking down Park Road to the Whitehorse end of the Arthur Wait where away fans are seated

They are supposedly knocking down and rebuilding the AW and not before time either. Horrible claustrophobic shithole with that soppy gantry blocking half your view

Absolutely brilliant away day that away end was rocking before the game and during and after the game just singing and a party atmosphere.

Fair play to Palace, they were superb, on that form they would have given most of the teams in the league a thrashing let alone an extremely weakened, not to mention a very knackered Villa side. The result did hurt me, but was more disappointed that Ollie didn't get his 20 goals the man's been absolutely brilliant for us.

Yes, a shame that, from what I saw he didn't really come close to getting it did he?
There was a header that he could have smashed down to the right of their keeper but he headed it like I probably would have, and the net was not troubled.

If Carlos hadn’t got in his way last Monday he would’ve done.

It was a brilliant day out, just a proper celebration.  I don;t like getting hammered 5 0 but it really, really didn;t matter or bother anyone there.  I genuinely forgot there was a game going on on quite a few occasions.  Hijacking the Palace goal celebrations also great fun!  For me it was probably the first time I've had a real, proper celebratory game like that with my son - and he's 24 next month!  Really good to meet Drummond too, and stand with him for the 2nd half, as Martyn Smith said, no-one was in their right seats.

A top day out, and even though the Villa supporter in me that has been hardened to fear the worst over the last 40 years has me with a niggling feeling the last couple of weeks are a sign of us weakening again, I have full faith in Mister Unai that he ain't gonna let that happen!!

Given we played in 1st gear i think that description is a tad OTT .

You're a film star, Daz! Our first trophy next season will be in February when you pick up the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor in the feature film 'Villa On Tour'. Congratulations.

It looked one extremely crazy day. I'm knackered just watching it.

Well they beat us 5-0. Fair play to them as they have been in form for weeks

I think Selhurst Park was probably the last time I saw Wolfie, back when it was all standing. He seemed to be wandering round not really watching the game.
