I was in with the Palace fans opposite the Villa end.

They did us proud singing the whole game and being noisier than the Palace drumming idiots.

I even bumped into Yorkshire Villans I met in Warsaw.

At half time I spoke to a Colombian, Argentinian, Turk, Brazilian and American. A very mixed bag of fans

Coincidentally I was next to two sisters from Sheffield who are part of the Yorkshire Villans and met some fellas from Ghana via East London who are mates with Konsa, as well as anumber of people from the European trips. Also met Drummond in the pub before the game.

Today was great, raucous fun but I still hated seeing us concede 5. It would be churlish to sulk after everything we’ve achieved this season though.

Not Andy Cudworth by any chance? He’s a great guy.

I can’t say I know what those reasons are… from my experience, I’d trust him like a brother.

I had a great day today met a few I'd not met before (Duncan Shaw, Chico Hamilton III, Pat McMahain, Big Daz, some London Lions, and some Yorkshire Lions, enjoyed a pint or 6, had a good old sing song and got to properly celebrate the Villa finishing 4th (our highest place for 30 years) and qualifying for the Champions League.

The result was immaterial to us, but allowed Palace to finish in the top half of the Premier League for the first time in a long time.

Show me the way to Barcelona....

And I'm just home and ready for bed.

A great away day and celebration of gaining Champions League spot. Must admit to being glad it's all over and resting up for the roller coaster of next season.

Martinez

Cash
Pau
Mings
Moreno

Bailey
Kamara
Tielemans
Ramsey

Buendia
Rodgers

*Somebody on the internet called Dan Bardell, whoever that is etcetera, saved me the trouble of looking up the names

No. We'd have needed Watkins. ☺

And we would have had to purchase Rodgers to play him.

Well, I don't like to correct people's spelling, as you know.

Fair play to Palace, they were superb, on that form they would have given most of the teams in the league a thrashing let alone an extremely weakened, not to mention a very knackered Villa side. The result did hurt me, but was more disappointed that Ollie didn't get his 20 goals the man's been absolutely brilliant for us.

Yes, a shame that, from what I saw he didn't really come close to getting it did he?
