The atmosphere was just fucking brilliant. Everything else just mattered to the people that weren't there.

It was a celebration of what has been an unbelievable season. If people can’t see what today was then that their issue.

Its probably been said - poetic about starting and ending the season letting in 5.

Well done to everyone for this season - the line up today shows what an achievement it was.  Clearly a lot of players playing through the pain.  They should all be proud of themselves.

Some of the players starting today will have played there last game for us - but they all contributed this season so well done to them all.

I'm fairly sure they had to delay their lap of honour because we wouldn't fuck off home and were instead bouncing along to what should have been their own songs.

What a fucking achievement. Madrid next season boys!!!!

After reading back through the thread, all I can see is people saying we got battered but who cares really. Nobody seems to be saying it actually, really matters.

So what’s the feeling about our youngsters?
Will any of them make it or will we have to strengthen from outside?

If Tim can't even get a start ahead of Chambers in a dead rubber that says it all. He did not heed Emery's words in February I'm afraid.

KHH a bit younger but again recalled mid season and only got a few token minutes in games we already had won. The Serb kid will be ahead of him next season.

Kellyman has a chance but he's only 18 so ideally a loan out to the championship I think.

Digne being called a Clown was match thread reactionary at its very finest.

Of the ones that weren't on loan, I don't see any of them making it into the first team peoper next season, barring massive injury list again. Definitely not looking at any of them thinking we don't need to sign a player for position x, y or z because we have player x, y or z.

Not even sure we'd raise that much money flogging any of them.

I was there, but unfortunately got a ticket from my palace supporting mate, so had to sit and watch the goals go in wishing I was sat in the other side of the ground. I think my mate took pity on me, coz we went to the bar ten minutes before the end. Still, what a great season.

Fuck the result. Just about the best atmosphere for a Villa away game since Taylor’s last game at Goodison nearly 35 years ago. Incredible!
Chico lives!
