If A Crap Lager Did Seasons.
« on: May 17, 2024, 09:53:39 PM »
Aston Villa reach the champions League.

Birmingham City in their most hopeful year for decades get relegated to Division 3.

West Brazil Albion stay down another year in Division 2 and potential financial peril.

Wolves remember them?  Finish at least 19 points behind us.

Manure remember them? Finish fighting for a conference league place and their ground is literally falling down.

It could hardly be any better could it?

Well, when you put it like that ...
... it has been an extraordinary alignment of star-events.

1977 revisited.Dismantling the best team in the league at home.Great attacking performances.Best team in the league October to December.Fell away slightly in the New Year because of injuries and fixture overload.
Defending high balls in the box a weakness.Remedied by Rimmer replacing Burridge and now, hopefully, the return of Mings.

From the offices of our brethren in Kampala (as per own thread, record 17th title)

It was whats app’d with the message

Quote
As you join yo beds to do all d wrong things you gotta do here's a Kind reminder... There's Sseggwanga in town. Sseggwanga teyeebaka! 🐓🐓 *🐓#TheBlues #17*

Safe to say the Kampala blues are a few ahead in top flight titles than our Brummie ones. My attempt at translation:, ssegwanga teyeebaka, the rooster (big cock!) never sleeps…

Well, we could have turned up against Olympiakos, and be looking forward to a European Final next week...
