If we play like we have in the last 3 games we’ll be massacred. Fully get all the mitigating factors, but in the two games against Olympiacos and against Brighton we’ve been utterly dreadful.

I just don't know where the energy comes from. Or the midfield, to be honest - their 3-vs-2 murdered us early in the season, Christ knows how we're going to compete.

Unai, couldn't love you more, but we have to change something in the system. We absolutely have to.

Players should have been subbed at the 55/60 minute mark tonight. No reason to keep all our best players on in a tie that was gone completely. Emery very rarely gets it wrong but in this regard he has tonight.

I was wondering the same but honestly, you can't throw games like that. When it was 2-0 at the end he did, which you understand, but at 55-60, you just can't have that mentality.

Can't see anything but a loss. Such a sad way for the season to go, they deserve better but don't seem to have anything left to give

We have done brilliant this year but have completely run out of steam and players.

Just one more effort boys to get us over the line. We deserve it

The one tiny, taunting, horrible sliver of light is that at least they won't be playing against an eleven-man defence like they were tonight. Olimpiakos just sat in, as was their right, and there was no way through that. Maybe, just maybe some of that chaotic Liverpool defending can work in our favour, maybe Ollie can get an actual sight of goal, maybe we can scratch out a point?

Bah. I hate hope.

Liverpool will absolutely batter us as will Palace. Spurs will get 4th…season over!!!
Players are knackered, been a great season but a very frustrating end.

Unfortunately, the Liverpool attack against our current defence is going to be unpleasant viewing.

To be honest, If Tottenham had got a result against Liverpool, I'd have been tempted to rest players from the start tonight. The Liverpool game was always a lot bigger for me than tonight

So here it is our last home match
May not even need to win the match given Burnley at Spurs and the outcome

At Villa Park:
In 18 matches scored 45 goals with a goal difference of +20 conceding 25
we have won 12  drawn 3 and lost 3 that's 39pts achieve at Villa park
Our 15-match winning run was a thing of beauty gracias El Maestro!
It's been a wonderful season especially at home
