Absolutely wonderful news that hopefully this young lad will be ok and that Heidi was there and saved his life. She will hopefully be recognized by the club in some way.

Is it too soon to suggest that incident likely happened to Josh because of our defending last night.

I think last nights first half would have raised the blood pressure, heart rate and numerous other health stress factors of many people myself included. I checked my Sports watch at half time and my heart rate had averaged about 110bpm when my normal resting heart rate is about 50-60bpm. Stressful stuff this football supporting malarkey!

The other good thing about it happening at the football is the likelihood someone will be able to donCPR and the availability of paramedics and Defib. I saw a stat last year that only 1 in 10 people survive a cardiac arrest.

And well done to that young lady Heidi and glad to hear the lad is ok.

The club should ensure she never has to pay for a season ticket ever again.
Not sure about ever again,  but definitely next season.
Best seats in the house for her & her dad.

similar incident in the North, did anybody hear anything about that?

Well I did wonder whether I'd have a heart attack the way the game was going.

Best news from the night & certainly puts things into perspective.

Great work from Heidi, great work from the medical teams, paramedics, doctors, hospital, family, etc.

And great from the young lad who was complaining about result to end the situation with some dry humour from the dad.

So good to see a seemingly positive outcome…didn’t look it at the time…when you see what is obv CPR being administered you fear the worst.  To the guy in Witton Lower that I found myself screaming at from Witton Upper to stop recording on his phone and show some respect…what does that achieve!

Heidi is a legend and deserves every plaudits he is receiving for responding so promptly and giving the lad every chance to survive

I thought the OP was going to be about the Chelsea vs Spuds game ...
... seriously, it was impressive to see the way that the club facilitated the 'rescue' - of course it was made to happen by Heidi's quick actions.

BTW, in the Upper Holte, far left as you look at the pitch, there was an incident in the first half: anyone know what that was all about?

Glad the young fella is OK, and well done to Heidi. Somebody on Twitter said there was a second similar incident in the North, did anybody hear anything about that?

I was in the upper North last night and there were some stewards, paramedics and police around in the 2nd half but I couldn't see what was going on.
