Villa Dreams and Superstitions
« on: May 01, 2024, 06:57:54 PM »
So this is a discussion topic about Villa superstition, dreams, synchronicity, and prophecy. You don't have to be mad, an oracle or shaman or be in touch with divinity to post here but it helps !

If you ever had a Villa dream, that came true or not please share it if you want to.
If you've ever had superstitions or are currently practicing them, well thanks -they're helping us finish fourth this season. And share away!
Or any previous superstitions.
Also any experiences with synchronicity, or intuition regarding a player, a result, or Aston Villa, this is the place to tell it!

So sometimes you have an unexplainable strong feeling that something will happen or occur, or your dream about Aston Villa felt so real!

It is up to anyone to contribute their thoughts, insights, foresights, and dreams!
And let's all be respected for what they share.

Thank you, and up The Villa.

I have to knock one out to the Peter Withe goal before every European tie.

At the moment, I'm convinced Gaucci will figure on Thursday or Saturday, be it an injury or sending Olsen off.
I just have an intuition that something is telling me Gaucci is going to come on.
I can't see how he will perform. I'm hoping heroic because it's not a bad feeling I'm having, but I do get the sense he's going to make his debut.

Considering the goalkeeper is generally the least likely player to get either injured or sent off, I do not share your conviction.

Think PWS got rather annoyed when BE tried that.

It's an intuition there's no rhyme no reason. Surely you and others must get feelings and maybe you have a Villa dream or a pre match superstition or ritual ?

Hoping to encourage and hear of any experiences from anyone !
The thread is in its infancy so I'm sure there plenty to come !

In early 2000's when I lived in Ireland, my home was next door to my parents.

Every time Villa scored, I ran next door to celebrate with my folks. It became a ritual.

Thankfully, I moved to Greece.

Now there is VAR. I wouldn't know if I was coming or going.

I dream a lot about philomena cunk. And before BV points out obvious it’s not rhyming slang!
Only superstitious behaviour was I had to wear my 2012 villa shirt with the macron men before games and my lucky pants. The latter now have become somewhat shrapnel damaged. But I am interested in BE and that shin….

At 7.32pm tomorrow just after the players have come out Chelsea go 1-0 against Spurs, cheers start to break out around a 25% full ground.
7.45pm as the players are trotting off, Chelsea go 2-0 up and a 2/3 full stadium starts to cheer even louder.
7.58pm and a packed Villa Park is rocking ready for kick off when Chelsea go 3-0 up, total pandemonium.
8pm Showtime, Come on you Lions !
