A reference to footballing gods in the learnt Loic Bade thread got me to post here.
Now if footballing gods exist, then how are they contactable and communicating?

I've had compulsions on days of football matches where I have to reference something that could assist the outcome of the Villa match.I can't say I'm trapped by it, but I can get times of overwhelming sense of this is going to happen today in the match. When I'm right, is that because it's footballing gods communicating?

If memory serves, and it does, you are very rarely right with your pre-match predictions. Have you considered switching Gods? There's shitloads of them.

I've made hundreds of accurate predictions actually. You're having a confirmation bias on pre match predictions

Grealish to be captain
Martinez to be captain
I created a thread in anticipation for Champions League qualification
And I created a thread on forecasting this 2025 season remainder where I have said we shall win the fa cup.

I also stated on hopes and expectations for this season thread that'll we'll win a trophy.

I stand by Villa will win a trophy this season

All the evidence of Emery wanting to do so , progression and the dreams becoming a reality will come to fruition. Mark my words.
Can revisit at end of the season

Let's not quash dreams rather keep them alive.
I'm a believer.
Up The Villa!

The more who manifest this the more it can happen:

That is all

There's a much, much longer list of guesses you got wrong.

Lookman is out for Atalanta I think.Good news if so.

You say that, but all I can now see is Zaniolo pinging that long-promised worldie in from thirty yards and a 2-1 Atalanta win.
That worldy has been coming…. :

This Zanilolo talk is better suited here. I see it as magical or superstitious thinking

When the lineup for West Ham was revealed, my dream regarding Fabianski fumbling the ball in for a goal was merely that—and not shared as unnecessary as he was not starting.

Now sometimes the dream may be a reality at a later time but with different characters.

So this fumble I 'saw' would occur in another fixture at Villa Park by a goalkeeper.I would love to see a massive fail by Kasper Schmeichel, who seems a bit of a nasty player.

Now sharing my description, basically a ball comes into the area, and Fabianski drops it, a real clanger, and Watkins has the easiest goal ever. Ok, it may not happen against Celtic, as it was only a dream and was actually West Ham, but sometimes dreams eventually happen.

Ah, now I get it. Like that dream I had about Erika Eleniak. Eventually I got a girlfriend and she did it. Not quite the same, but close enough.

To gain more understanding and for better communication, I'm making sure everything is understood and clear, and when not, there may be others who don't follow, too , and as this is a new year ad to help challenge the assumptions , I think explaining these things always helps so everyone reading is in the loop.
I don't know this Erika lady, and I don't know how well known she is to others outside of your dreams.

On this instance:
Erika Eleniak is an American-Canadian actress, Playboy Playmate, and model known for her role in Baywatch as Shauni McClain.
