It would be bad juju to change it before the game is over and we are 100% in. Even if it's 10-0 at half time.
Ok I respect when another has thinking like this so won't change the thread title To Aston Villa are in The Champions League till officially confirmed be it tonight or Sunday.

I passed a pub called Grealish's on the outskirts of Galway yesterday. Didn't go in though.

There are lines, and there are lines.

There are steps, and there are great leaps.

There are a lot of superstitions thinking going on because idea of jinxing is the same.
Also the same is gambling on the opposite outcome to impact the result you do want.
It's same as having the feeling of prominence of 4 tonight in the Man City match.

No gambling is softening the blow of you lose, not to influence the result or even predicting, having a vision or being visited by an image of Jesus fucking Christ in your porridge.

Has anyone had any dreams or have any rituals leading up to this Bayern game?

The idea of "jinxing" for anyone over 8 years old is quite frankly absurd.

I had a dream that we lost 12-1.

But that was a dream and it was bollocks. In reality, we're going to smash them 4-2.

I had a dream last night that I lived with loads of my work mates. It was horrible. One of them had a bucket and said “don’t think this is food, it’s a sample of my poo, I’ve got to send it to my doctor to be examined.”

Make of that what you will. 2-1 Villa.

A reference to footballing gods in the learnt Loic Bade thread got me to post here.
Now if footballing gods exist, then how are they contactable and communicating?

I've had compulsions on days of football matches where I have to reference something that could assist the outcome of the Villa match.I can't say I'm trapped by it, but I can get times of overwhelming sense of this is going to happen today in the match. When I'm right, is that because it's footballing gods communicating?

Sometimes if an outcome merely tallies with statistics-based and is what the analytical data would have predicted, does it therefore question the football gods prowess?

I think belief in dreams, superstitions, and beliefs is a very personal thing. Don't forget, though, Emery said his dream is to win the Champions League. And has asked us to dream again!

No. It's all a load of bollocks and luck/coincidence.

I think intuition can be dependent on a variety of factors
It also depends of state of mind and how connected someone is to their awareness or surroundings

Sometimes the intuition can play out in the dream when its not being realised when awake.
And sometimes therefore can have an accurate reading of how a match will occurr or a player scoring.
