150 celebrations
« on: April 23, 2024, 05:33:24 PM »
I’m sure this is probably on another thread somewhere, but wasn’t the 150 celebrations due to start at the Liverpool game. Has the switch to Monday night messed up any plans??

On Sunday, they pulled a fabric circle with the 150 logo into the centre circle which then promptly got soaked by the sprinklers. They then flapped the wet heavy thing about as best they could for a minute when the players came out.
What more do you want? Let the celebrations begin!

That was hilarious. Looked like it was sopping wet and weighed a ton as they tried to carry it off the pitch before kick off.

Is that the one that looks like a Villa ISIS collaboration?

Yeah i think it was. They lined up a load of legends before ko to get atmosphere up and it was brilliant  would love to see that again.

I think patrick berger scored in that game and it was one of his best games for us

When he was injury free a good free transfer. But I think I recall he spoiled himself by touting one our better players as a transfer target. Not 100% sure who that was.

I'm pretty sure it was Barry, because he was being heavily linked with Liverpool and Berger had his success there.

In hindsight, they shouldn't have made it from leftover Castore shirt material.
