Given the pressure of needing to win to keep ahead of Spurs, that was an excellent win. Bournemouth are no mugs and we’ve just come off two massive games.

Superb 2nd half after what I saw as a measured first half where our aim seemed to be to use up as little energy as we could to protect ourselves  from hitting a wall in the 2nd half.

Bloody well done Villa. For a number of reasons that could have been really tough - we had a physically and emotionally draining game Thursday, Bournemouth are a good side, and we went behind. It shows great character, and skill, to come through it. Massive win and puts huge pressure on Spurs.
