No, the way he behaves is a part of him and helps him be the keeper he is. The best keeper in the world.

I understand a lot of it is about getting in the zone and there isn’t a single goalie on the planet I’d prefer to have in a shoot out but…..deep down do you wish he’d turn it down a notch?

Can only speak for myself here, but absolutely, categorically not. It's great entertainment and he also gives you an edge in penalties. I massively fancied us for those pens, despite the nerves, purely because Emi's a believer mate. He'll be in every opponents head for any shootout and the whole world knows it.

Aston Villa biggest cheats on the planet. So let me get this right a goalkeeper in a shootout can be as unsportsmanlike as they want unless a ref has the guts to show a straight red (they wont)

Martinez should have got a least 2 yellow cards in that shootout. Not to mention being off his line and then you have the phatom handball in extra time which apparently hit Cash’s chest.

Nah I am not having it.
Refs bottling it again, Cash swept the ball away clearly with his hand, Martinez should have been sent off, Watkins elbow on that defenders head (did you see the lump on his head) that was a red card too, the smug effers will win it and the refs have been 12th man especially in this game

Cry more.  Love it.

Yep! Wouldn't have it any other way.

No for me as well, and to honest I think the ref having a go at him for shushing them was totally out of line unless he also 'has a word' with Jonathan David a little later for trying to get the crowd up. The crowd were giving Emi shit all night, him saving  apen and shushing them is nothing more than theatre that you see all the time in games everywhere.

No chance.
The days of a chin up, egalitarian, fair play approach to the game are, unfortunately, long gone.

We either win nothing or do what everyone else does, and our keeper is the best in the world at it.

Fuck them. UTFV

He gets in their heads. And that's half the battle already won.

Never saw the cash goal coming but when pens was on the cards there was only one winner.

Plus the refs in both legs were absolutely done shit and against us for 99% of both legs

Are you serious? Rather just roll over and surrender like too many Villa teams of the last 30 odd years.

Do we know if we play the semi final first leg at home or away yet?

I love Emi. I'd hate him if he played for someone else. We've missed a shithouse for 10 years.
