Is it right that because Emi's had 3 yellows in the quarter finals he gets a one match ban? So he won't play in the first leg of the semi?

I was impressed how quickly they checked our goal for a push on the goalie. I know it was pretty clear that their own defender did it, but if that had been in the PL, the oafs at Stockley Park would have been umming and aahing for the best part of five minutes.

Yep, I was impressed with that too.

Just watched on you tube a re-run of the TNT broadcast of the pens. All I can say is what a complete and utter F****** P**** The commentator Paul Dempsey is.

He was like that for the whole match, it was hideous. Ah well. There will be the whole range of TNT commentators to choose from in the semi!

I watched the match with a different commentary team last night, but when I watched that you tube clip from TNT today I couldn’t believe what a t**t he was. He was routing for Emi to be sent off, he also had no idea what he was on about.

I watched the match with French commentary. I didn't understand a word but it was way better than TNT, Sky or BBC coverage ever is.

I thought the co-commentator on TNT, Rachel someone, was excellent. Much better than the commentator.

I think you're confusing Lucy Ward with Rachel Ward. Not a mistake many men have made.

And then they would have disallowed it because Duran collided with the defender who collided with the keeper.

Ditching the League Cup isn't a terrible idea. Although it doesn't usually add that many games for us, but I suppose there's weeks where league  games have to be caught up on, so it congests things even if you're not in it.

Taking the Prem sides out of it and leaving it for Championship and below is an idea though. Winner gets into qualifying rounds of Europa or Conference maybe.

I prefer the League Cup to the FA Cup. Midweek games, so no blank weekends if you’re out, much better semi-final, over in March.

Fair point. I suppose there's not that many round in it either. Its only a "problem" if you've got cup runs and European games to juggle with the league.

That’s the one. Other than adding to the yellow card for Emi uncertainty, she was good.

Has anybody got a link to the full shoot out? I’d love to watch it as being in the stadium among home fans wasn’t easy. I didn’t realise we had won at first as I was so focused on each penalty that I forgot we had gone first😢
