We haven't put in a properly good performance since December. It's extremely concerning.

Indeed. Bunch of absolute arse for ages.

Do away goals count double?

Did they ever?

Not double as such, but a bonus if the match is drawn, which killed out campaigns regularly.

We won’t go through with a one goal lead. We simply struggle to keep a clean sheet. We’ve had some good attacking moments but Martinez pretty much being our MOTM says a lot.

Exactly but you cant say that or you will be told to give it a rest as you are being negative apparently

Unreal negativity.

Nice to see people don't think we can get a draw against fucking Lille.

"Fucking" Lille have been the better team tonight. Our Goalkeeper has been our best player by a country mile

The point is it's not Real Madrid.

If course we can get a draw next week and go through.

I cant see us going through now with a 1 goal lead

That's the spirit!

Well we aint if we carrying defending this abysmally.  Its seriously shocking

We're so bad, we're awful! XYZ is shit, defense is shit, Emery got it wrong.

Just give it a rest, the match isn't even over.

And you are picking on me because ????

How amny posts on here saying defence been a issue tonight yet you chooss my post why?

Answer the question have we defended well tonight?

You responded and I, in turn, responded. That's how forums work.

Complaining about winning a fucking game in the last 8 of a Euro competition, jesus wept. What tf have we become as a fanbase?

Going to Lille scared with our tail between our legs, fuck that.

Rubbish

Have we defended well tonight ? Is that being negative or stating a fact?

This squad has such a weak mentality

Not having that. Two ACLs and a 5-1 loss on the first 48 hours of the season and here we are in April in the top 5 and a European quarter final

Two games in a row in crunch games, cruising at 2-0 and they've completely switched off in both.

We've defendered better than Lille, as the little numbers in the top left prove.
