I still don't quite understand, if you're offside then you're offside, us or them. It's the one decision I don't ever really get annoyed about.

I'd refer you to those match threads where we had a late winner disallowed because a line on a screen deemed Watkins' toe-nail to be slightly ahead of the arse-cheek of the defender.

I'd be annoyed if we'd had that goal disallowed as well.

It's tight but given where he was and knowing that VAR exists he didn't need to push it that tight, there was more than enough space for him to take a half step to the right and still get in.
