Are Lille any good? Anyone who actually watches French football have an opinion? Or a team you'd compare them too.

The bloke from l'Equipe I spoke to yesterday made a good point - Digne and Lenglet would be stars in France.

Yes. Well coached. Obvs don't have premier league level resources but in my opinion this should have been the final.

Better than anyone else we've played so far. Not as good as us.

But that doesn't mean we definitely won't screw it up.

I don't really follow French football though i am French but one thing is sure they are better than ajax so a very tough game. Their weak point according to French media is that they have young players lacking experience.

What a thoughtful bunch of replies there!

So a big challenge ahead then. I suppose you want to have to beat some good teams on the way to a trophy, can't just have it handed to you.

Yes. Well coached.

That's a good point. Fonseca is thought of as one of the best coaches around. He was Spurs' first choice when they eventually went for Nuno Espírito Santo and is supposedly the guy West Ham want if / when they ditch Moyes.
