Emery's stoke moment . Very poor games for Bailey McGinn Konsa who bottled it. Carlos and Torres powder puff defending . Handed it on a plate to Spurs now .

It's like some of you just want things to go tits up. Honestly.

Disorienting though it is to agree on anything with Tim, he's got a point. That was an absolutely atrocious throwing away of two points, conceding 3 goals so utterly limply in a nine minute spell and just scraping a draw at home to utter dross like Brentford, having been 2-0 up on 46 minutes is nothing like good enough.

We have not managed a good performance 0-90 for absolutely ages now, and we're dropping way too many points whilst shipping too many goals.

Poor performances pretty much across the board today, and I fear we've absolutely handed it to Spurs with that shocking rubbish.

I sat watching that collapse and couldn't even get angry, it's just what we do. Our game management just doesn't exist.

Yes, we’ve given soooo many points away from winning positions, where are we in the league for that now? Still top?

Could have been a lot worse. Previous Villa sides would have lost that at 3-2. This manager always has a trick or two up his sleeve but defend like that vs Arsenal and we'll be trashed. 18 goal Watkins is a plus too.

Indeed.

It's hardwired in at this stage.

Totally disagree. Three - two down and we pull it back, shows plenty of fight and bottle in this squad. We've cracked the sixty point barrier and this could prove to be a fantastic point come season's end.  UTV

That referee is a bastard. He first only points for a free kick and looks towards the North Stand, then he seems to jolt and turns back to give Luiz the yellow card. C***T

Two nil up and concede three in 9 minutes to be 3-2 down in the first place.

We've had a great season, you're right, but that today was - again - poor, as it has been for a while. We just about scraped a point and could easily have come away with nothing.

It was a clear yellow card. The only person to be angry at there is Luiz who has let his teammates down and needlessly got himself suspended for 2 games.

Feels like Stoke mark 2.  Is slightly better than that, but only just.

You might think that, but in reality it’s not, for lots of reasons, mainly our manager was forced too make changes v Man City, he didn’t deliberately drop Watkins, John Mc, or Emi.

I accept today was a blow.

Typical Brentford match for us, honestly. Thought we were great upfront and ten minutes of Konsa, Pau and Diego chasing ghosts cost us. Fair play to Brentford because their first half was embarrassing.

It’s two dropped and back to hoping Spurs gonna Spurs.

Thank the football gods for Ollie Watkins, the savior.

That's one way of putting a spin on it but from 2-0 up at home to shite like that it's a stupid 2 points dropped . Then Luiz brain fart moment in injury time .
