We will get more joy with crosses into the box than trying to pick the lock.  Rogers playing really well.

yes, like the goal we scored.

We look a good team.

As in team photo? It's still Villa 2024, not hitting the heights of last year. We really miss ball carriers, Dougie brought the ball forward midway though the first half but we failed to build on it with the ball ending up back with Torres. We're just lacking that little bit of confidence/arrogance to run at teams, take on a player and open up space.

They're doubling up on Bailey, Watkins at least isn't playing statues like those around him. It's all very low risk, keep it safe mode. Hopefully that was our shit half. ;)

Remember the time Clive Thomas blew for time as a corner was delivered into the box and just before someone headed it in, out if time.

Also, I am sure I recall seeing Platt scoring a belter (maybe overhead kick) which was ruled out as the ref blew when the ball was mid air.

Brentford remind me a bit of Wimbledon of old.

They're really horrible and niggly

Isn’t it always a bit shit when we play them? Either we lose playing shit or we get something and it’s a shit bad tempered affair.

I don’t think we’ve lost to them since that 2-1 about 2 or 3 seasons back.

Be first time doing double in a very long time.
They have picked up any sort of points in away games 4 times thats the lowest in the league.

They’ll score by bombing it into our box (I suspect) so we’ll need another.

Recently Bellingham scored recently for Real Madrid but was sent off disputing the disallowed goal as ref blew whistle for full time during the ball being played to him!

We're very static at times, and we also take way too many touches - although that seems to be deliberate.

Still, one moment of quality and we're ahead. A clean sheet would be nice now.

Fingers crossed we don't let on our obligatory goal just after HT and put us back to square one after all that huff and puff.

Every goal scored and conceded is crucial for goal difference.

A few on here were saying Rogers is a shit championship player after his first start for us. Think he's done very well for us this week given his age and lack of hame time
