I'd have preferred Roy Keane to have not described Erling Haaland as no better than a League Two player at the weekend.

We just have to better Spurs result against these (whenever it gets played).  I'd snap your hand off for a draw right now. 4 points in a season from them would be a brilliant return.  I won't be too distraught if we lose, as long as the goal difference doesn't take a hammering.

You just know keanes criticism of haaland is now going to punish us ffs

Bet he has a stormer tonight after what keane said. Bellend

Don't worry, I've made him captain in my fantasy team. That will be enough to stop him.

Haaland probably wasn't a fan in the first place due to what Keane did to his Daddy, he probably hates the grumpy langer with a passion now.

I would suggest that feud is also the source of Keane's comments as well being as he initially blamed Alfe's challenge for his initial injury, which led to the retaliation years later.

Fortunately, cyborgs don't have feelings.

Feeling strangely more confident about this one the closer it gets. We'll probably get battered now.
Im the opposite today really. I don’t agree with the free hit analogy for all the reasons PWS has already said. But only having Luiz out of our four first choice midfielders and not having our main striker, is tough. Its a massive ask to get anything from this tonight, with the realism hat firmly on. I hope we don’t get battered and I hope its an Emery masterclass and my gut feeling is totally off line.

Yeah, if we weren't so stretched I'd be confident but in these circumstances I'm not. You never know but I think we also struggle if we have to set up to contain, it doesn't suit us.

Think I'm going to avoid watching and hope to be surprised.

I'm just already thinking about Brentford. McGinn back, hopefully Ollie as well, going into the weekend fourth whatever happens tonight - that's the game worth pinning some hopes on.

Here's the team that started against City in December.

           Martinez
Ezri  Diego Torres  Digne
Bailey Kamara Doug  SJM
               Tielemans
                  Ollie

Wonder how Unai will replace Bouba, SJM and Ollie?

I’m going to watch from behind the sofa, like I did as a kid when watching scary movies…or bizarrely Dr Who (not sure why I found that scary)…

I think we’re going to lose this one…

I think pretty much the only question tonight is whether Rogers or Zaniolo starts. I don't think we'll see a lot of changes.

Then again, maybe we'll see something wild we've never seen him try before.
