Moreno is out of form but if he doesn't make that run for the free kick which led to Diaby's opener, we may not have won the game.

It's not a free hit at all. We're not a non league club about to play Man City in the FA Cup 3rd round. We've aready twatted them once and are only 1 place below them. We need to stop being so small time. They won't be looking forward to playing us, and that's as it should be.
Dropping into this thread. So have not seen most previous posts. ManC have not, in 6 attempts, beaten a team in the top 5. That makes it better than a free hit. ManC will be worried about this game. I fancy us for a win.

Spurs still have a game in hand over us, so nothing is a free hit until that's out of the way. We need to be more than 3 points clear of them by the time that one gets played. Tomorrow is now a huge opportunity for us.

We've both played 30 as things stand in fairness .

Feeling strangely more confident about this one the closer it gets. We'll probably get battered now.

I’ve concerned we might get a hiding. I’m not sure Arsenal’s result there is really in our favour, it’s probably sharpened their focus. Hopefully I’m wrong!

Of course its a free hit.  If we lose no shame at all.

As said before, when we beat them they had no doku rodri grealish or KDB. They make a massive difference this is going to be a much tougher test without watkins and mcginn too.

Then the fact that its at citeh too where we never win. If we lose we lose this one and just quickly move on to a more winnable game vs brentford

If we had McGinn, Cash, Kamara, Ramsey & Watkins, I'd give us a chance. Without them I don't think we've got a hope.

We need a maximum of 4 wins out of the last 8 games to finish 5th. Anything tonight would be a huge bonus.

One place below we may be but, they're still in a different league. We may catch them on an off night but they're capable of putting us away easily if they click. That's why we shouldn't get disheartened if we have a really bad night.

I think all the games against the top three are free hits as they are in a league of their own presently, they have been for a few years to be honest. I'd be chuffed with a draw but at half ten tonight, we move on quickly and concentrate on Saturday, which is far more important. I still believe we need 70 points to get 4th, how we do it and how we play getting there, I couldn't care less.

A draw would be nice as it would preserve our +2 goal difference over Spuds. Just hope it doesn't take a battering.

We've beaten two of them already. So our record is P3 W2 D0 L1.

None too shabby.

Records are there to be broken. We had an outstanding home record until Sheffield United, of all teams, stopped it.

Of course they are favourites, and so they should be, but we aren't some non-league minnows.

I'd be absolutely delighted with a win/draw but we have a few lads missing so the pragmatist in me just says get tonight out of the way, its still doesn't alter the fact that we shat them off the park at VP - regardless of the Sky bell ends forgetting that. Bigger fights to win coming up, and with a 100% refreshed SJM, its on.

Time for us to start thinking and acting like a club that belongs in the upper echelons of football. Of course there's a chance we could get tonked that happens to big clubs all the time but we must go into these type of games believing we belong there. I bet the players do after  Unai gives his team talk.
