I wonder if there will be a spot on the bench for the young lad Rory Wilson now Ollie is out?

I’d be surprised, he doesn’t seem like he’s anywhere near the first team picture at the moment.

So that’s 7 first team starters out against City

Watkins
Ramsey
Cash
McGinn
Kamara
Mings
Buendia

Have I missed anyone

Don't think so, but if we're playing the "woe is us" card, I'm not sure I'd have McGinn in there. We mocked Spurs fans for complaining about missing players and they were counting two or three who were suspended. And we rightly laughed at them, because all those players had to do was not get suspended. And they'd have been available.

It's his fault he's not available, not the injury Gods.

Wonder who will get booked first Duran or Zaniolo, and how many seconds it will take.

Resting Watkins for more winnable matches seems a sensible plan to me.

Im hopinng this is the case.

For me i would bench bailey for this one and have hom come as a sub as saturday is more of a winnable game.

If he goes 5 at back we are getting spanked by 4 or 5. But surely after the disaster against spurs he wont be foolish enough to go for that again.

Same back four id go for with timmy in along luiz and youri.

Thank fuck mcginns back saturday

I thought the defence looked far better in the 2nd half v wolves with no Lenglet and Moreno in there .

MAn city are  a place above us in the table.  Over the whole season they are a win better.  If Watkins was fit enough to play, he’d be playing 100%.

He's not resting him, he's carrying an injury. He didnt take him off at half time on Saturday to give him a rest.

I know the point you're making and I agree with you but I'm not sure how they're only "a win better" when they're five points ahead of us having played a game fewer.

Actually, scratch that, I see they've only won one more league game than us so far
