According to Emery, Watkins said he wanted to carry on but the club doctor didn’t think he should, so Unai is calling it a small one….translated, that means season ending.

I thought being a worldly knowledgeable person you would know. Moussa Diaby was fasting and at exactly 6.40 him and me had to break that fast. I think Ait Nurri also did the same.

Patchwork 11 which got the job done. Special
mention for Digne, Zaniolo and Duran, who changed the game in our favour.

Also, I’d absolutely start with Digne in any must win game between now and end of season. Moreno has been terrible since return from injury and needs a reboot in preseason imo. Rogers did more defending than he did - Struggling to think of a more lacklustre performance!?

Ahh ok thanks , it's hard at the ground when you get zero information what's happening.

When do we find out if 5th place gets CL?
Why should we care? We’re finishing 4th! 😉💪🏼

Emery was a bit late coming back out after half time so maybe Watkins was arguing his case, or having a strop. Either way he's maybe not seriously injured, hopefully.

That was pretty comfortable for a derby I thought. Rodgers and Zaniolo were both great.

They might need to start mentioning us.

I swear we could win the CL next season and the national press wouldn't mention us. In a way I rather hope they don't. As a stereotypical middle aged West Midlander I absolutely bloody love moaning, and would be deprived the chance to grizzle about the bloody biased national press...

If we make the CL it will be proof positive that the competition is not what it was. Esp with the new extended league format.

But fcuk 'em. Cross that bridge when we come to it.
