Man we were pretty bad that half. If we setup to defend this lead we will concede. Need to keep pressure on them and get another which i think should kill them off

Can't decide on Rogers.

He knows the positions he needs to be in when receiving the ball but has very little idea of how to pass it.

Even the mazy run where half their team were tugging him back he should've released it to Bailey right at the start after turning.

Don't really think we can risk this formation v Man. City.

Don't think the "Ramsey" position suits him really.  He struggles with the defensive side involved with playing there.  Think he would be much more suited in the 'number 10' role.

We’ve been pretty poor. We’re in front from a nicely worked set piece but we can’t allow Wolves to dominate midfield and the left flank like they have.

It's bit difficult to stop them as they have numbers in midfield and we refused to start one. It's all a bit of a U13s run around, go out and enjoy yourselves on a Saturday morning. Thankfully Wolves are playing without any proper strikers.

Please, please Villa, avoid our usual 45-58 minute sleepwalk.
Thanks for reminding me.

I'll be spending it behind the couch.

He’s got the ability so I reckon with the right coaching he’s going to be very good. Because of the injuries he’s been thrown in sooner but these games will give him decent experience.

One of my pet hates is giving up comfortable possession. We’ve done too much of that.

In time I think he could be Ollie's deputy perhaps. Or utility striker when injuries hit.

Better decision making going forwards, like Ezri not shooting with his left foot when he has Villa players left and right, and we will be much better.  Finished the half well.  Watkins has gone off.  Duran on!!
